SunScreen
is woven vinyl-coated fiberglass screening manufactured for
the primary use of reducing solar heat gain in the summer and
heat loss in the winter. SunScreen absorbs and dissipates
up to 70% of the sun's heat and glare before it reaches the
window. They are easily installed on any type and size of window
and also performs as an insect screening.
The solar optical properties
are used to calculate the shading coefficient. The shading coefficient
represents the percentage of solar heat gain that is transmitted
to the interior through the glass ans shading system. Darker
colors provide maximum glare reduction and visibility.
